About
Hi there!

My name is Mary and I am the founder of Stroller Struts.
After becoming a first time mom back in 2022, I was completely unprepared for how lonley and overwhelming postpartum would feel. I struggled with postpartum depression, anxiety, and OCD. I was battling the intrusive thoughts, unable to sleep, self isolating, and feeling like I was drowning. I absolutley loved my daughter more than anything but I also felt so lonely.
Through my struggles, it made leaving the house very difficult for me. I would mostly just make it out to grab a coffee through the drive-thru, then walk around in my neighborhood. Getting fresh air, sipping a fresh iced coffee, and moving my body made such a huge difference in my physical and mental well being. But what I was still really looking for was connection.

Thats why I started Stroller Struts. It is so much more than just a walk. This is a space where moms can show up exactly as they are, feel understood, be heard and supported. It's about raising awareness for postpartum mental health, and making sure that no mom suffers alone in silence.
If you are struggling, if you are feeling alone, or if you just need a reason to get out of the house- come walk with us. Because motherhood is something we were never meant to do alone.
xx mary

Our Mission
Stroller Struts is a Stroller walking group dedicated to empowering moms through community, connection and movement. We provide a safe, supportive space where mothers can prioritize their mental and physical well-being, build authentic relationships, and spread awareness for postpartum health. Through group walks and shared experiences, we are breaking the silence around maternal mental health and creating resilience in motherhood.

Our Vision
Stroller Struts envisions a future where every mother has the support, community, and resources she needs to thrive postpartum. Through movement and connection, we are redefining maternal wellness one walk at a time. Our goal is to create a network of chapters that not only creates friendship and support, but also drives real change in postpartum mental health awareness, advocacy and accessibility. No mom should have to walk through the journey of motherhood alone.
